Watch Repair FAQs

  • What is included in servicing a watch?
    • As a company with great experience in repairing high quality watches, we believe in high quality service. All watches for services are completely disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and timed using state of the art equipment. Cases are polished, cleaned, and most plastic crystals are replaced.
  • What is the turnaround time?
    • Our turn around time is usually 4 – 5 weeks. Depending on material availability, vintage pieces may take longer.
  • Can you guarantee water resistance?
    • We do not recommend taking any vintage watch near water.

    • For modern watches that are water resistant in design, we use testing equipment to ensure reliability. We recommend having the water resistance of your divers watch checked once a year if you use it for swimming or diving. We do not guarantee water resistance on Vintage watches.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    • We accept Paypal, bank checks, & money orders. Personal checks must wait to clear the bank.
  • How should I ship my watch?
    • We would suggest shipping your watch by a traceable insured method, Signature required !: We recommend USPS, or UPS.

On the address label do not mention anything relating to watches.

The address should read as follows:

      P.G.S.C. LLC
      4208 Union Road
      Cheektowaga, NY 14225

  • What does it cost for a watch repair estimate?
    • We do not charge for estimates. Your only responsibility would be for the cost of shipping the watch back to you. If you “decline” the estimate , return Shipping & Insurance is Normally $10 – 25 on most watches.
  • Do you sell watch parts?
    • We have many sources of hard-to-find materials for watches that we service. We also can fabricate parts if needed. However, we are not a material supplier, therefore we do not sell parts to the public.
  • Do you buy watches?
    • We also buy vintage and antique watches.
  • Do you do work overseas?
    • We are happy to do work overseas. We use either Priority Mail or USPS.

    • Express Int. for shipping. We will send an invoice for the watch as a repaired piece only – not a sale. This will keep taxes and duty at a reasonable level.
